Život Není Krásný: Poslední Exekuce is a Czech-language hand-drawn point-and-click adventure that plunges players into the gritty life of Vladimír Brehowski, a 63-year-old bailiff on his last day before retirement. Known for his love of booze, greasy food, and a readiness to throw a punch, Vladimír wakes up with a massive hangover to find his overweight wife Jitka has left him, fed up with his excessive drinking, leaving only a farewell letter behind. Despite this personal crisis, he must report to work where his ruthless boss demands ruthless debt collection from society’s most vulnerable — including the mentally slow and even an orphaned boy burdened with inherited debt. With no room for kindness or slack, players navigate a darkly humorous and politically incorrect world where the law forces Vladimír to squeeze money out of the desperate, no matter the cost. Building on the cult ZNK game series, this installment is directed by Marty Pohl and developed by an experienced creative team that transformed the original freeware project into a polished full game. Featuring 40 detailed screens and over 30 fully voiced characters, including the main character voiced by Leoš Noha and a supporting cast of notable Czech actors like Radim Neuvirt, Matěj Ruppert, and Zuzana Truplová, the game blends classic adventure gameplay with cutscenes and engaging minigames.
